Marketing Intern - SEO
Position Summary
Are you a tech savvy, a strong communicator, and passionate about digital marketing?
If so, Catalyst Media, a growing Media & Marketing Services company, is looking for an SEO & Outreach Specialist Intern to help us earn media placements, promote our content, and optimize our websites.
You’ll lead outreach efforts with the goal of generating links, social shares, and traffic for several websites we own such as betterbuys.com and hrmorning.com. Most of your time will be spent identifying good link targets, pitching & promoting content, and relationship building with journalists, publishers and bloggers.
The ideal candidate will be a go-getter who knows how to get things done and is hungry to learn. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
This is a great opportunity to learn search engine optimization (SEO) and develop hands-on expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with online publishers, bloggers, editors, journalists and more to earn media placements
- Research, identify, and quality placement opportunities
- Conduct cold outreach and content promotion
- Cultivate a database of contacts and influencers in our target market
- Collaborate with in-house editorial team on creative content campaigns
- Leverage on-page SEO tactics to optimize our site
Success Criteria
- Generate target number of media placements
- Develop relationships with influencers and journalists
- Help grow organic, social and referral traffic
