Part-time Project Coordinator Internships for Events (Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall)

We are a NGO located in West Main Line (Malvern) with active programs globally. More information can be found at www.harmonyforpeace.org.

For this year, one of our major peace events, Peace Day Concert 2016 is scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at Kimmel Center for Performing Arts and a few project coordinators are needed to help implement the project. Apart from the concert, we have a peace forum (multi faith dialogue conference to be held on the same day). There will be an opportunity to conduct survey, update and design our social media, and more research, coordinate and communication related jobs are available for interns to contribute and to learn.

We do not have a large office space to assemble. Everyone in the team works from home and meet regularly. This will allow a student to work in the project but work from home etc. and save time and expense to travel to our office. We use skype or facetime for our meetings.

There is a small pay in the range of $150 to 200 per month depending on an individual experience and skills. All cost of supplies will be reimbursed.

There are three more initiatives are happening at the same time: Jr. Peace & Music Ambassador, Concert 2GO, and Peace Concert at Carnegie Hall. All are linked to our theme of “Play for Peace Together – Unity Through Music” for promoting global peace and friendship, non-violence, conflicts-free, nuclear weapons-free and reconciliation.
